A friend from church was quite sick last week and when I dropped in a meal for the family, I dropped in this bouquet too. My eldest daughter had fun helping me make it. We added water to the body of the ladybug to help stabilize the sculpture. Actually, my daughter helped me to add water to the balloon. :) Maybe I shouldn't have showed her that, because since then, she's been finding balloons to fill with water.

2013 Mother's Day Pieces
A friend in church asked me if I do bouquets for Mother's Day. I said that I can, and so this year, before Mother's Day came round, I made up a few pieces. Not all of them were bouquets, but something I felt would be refreshing to give to a mum.
The one in the middle took me a whole night to work it out. The leaves were something new I learnt from a pdf.
Made up the bow and arrow myself. LOL! I was rather proud of myself then! It does shoot out too!
This post is rather late, but I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day.
Hugs!

Flower bouquets
There are many reasons for flower bouquets and here are three of them :
This first one was for my niece who turned 6. There were 4 flowers but the other two were hidden behind. I added another base to it eventually to stabilise it. She said that she hated pink but likes blue and purple.
This second one was for a friend who wanted to bring something bright and cheery to her friend who was in hospital. Her friend can't have fresh flowers and so a bouquet of balloon flowers were ordered for her! She likes the lady mouse and I made it into a vase holder.
This last one was for Australia Day. It was raining and pouring and looking so gloomy, I thought it would be nice to have something sunny and Australiany in the house.
The next time you need a bouquet of flowers, let me know!
